Our leg wraps and bandages are made of 100% wool to provide maximum comfort for the horse.
The main properties of the wool pad are that it supports the leg and regulates the heat so that the tendons and ligaments can work optimally. They also breathe naturally, which means that air and moisture can be transported and is therefore pleasant against the fur. By not locking in moisture, the risk of skin irritation and bacteria is also reduced.
The main features of the bandage are that it reinforces the woollen leg wrap all the way out by being heat-regulating, moisture-repellent and breathable. It effectively keeps dirt away and, like all woolen fabrics, it is self-cleaning and therefore needs to be washed less often. It goes a long way with airing and shaking off.
